From 27th May to 30th April, a first-of-its-kind Alice In Wonderland Exhibition at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, California can be viewed by the public for free.
In lieu of the June 1st release of the movie Alice in Wonderland on DVD, Disney Consumer Products is unveiling the said exhibition. The exhibit will include:
- Original costumes from the film
- Clothing inspired by the film, designed by a number of celebrities, designers and fashion icons
- Alice-inspired gowns created by FIDM design graduates
Alice in Wonderland has become the tenth highest grossing film of all time, surpassing the film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Directed by Tim Burton, the movie has already brought in $928.9 million at box offices around the world.
