The investment firm Triton Systems Inc has bought a majority stake in the activewear maker Vomax, in an effort to take its Asset custom clothing technology to the retail market. The Asset coatings are energy efficient, antimicrobial, water repellent and stain resistant.
They are also made with a solvent free process that produces ultrathin, rugged and highly functional coatings that are ideal for woven and non woven fabrics. The CEO of Vomax sees the companies as a great fit for one another, as Vomas currently produces clothing that is used in the cycling, Nordic, triathlon and running markets. They are also an exclusive manufacturer for licensed cycling jerseys, shorts , and arm warmers for major sports leagues including the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), and Major League Baseball (MLB).
